Good for your son and a tribute to you as parents.
My grandson wants an iPad and iPhone. His parents said he could when he was able to pay for it himself so he came to me to intercede. Told him the same thing. The grandson is only over here one day once in a while. His life is very hectic and crammed full with school, lots of homework, Boy Scouts, track, bicycling and volunteer work so the few hours of quiet time by himself is something he really looks forward to.
Maybe she just told him it was time to quit playing the game and take a bath....
(We'll never know.)
Or the boy could have evil tendencies.
Here we go, debate, debate, debate, debate... till half of us are blue in the face and the other half are dead!!
Just take him out behind the barn and do what needs done.
I’m so furious I can barely stand to watch the news lately...
Jeesh already!
I guess I made the right decision not to allow my gaming son to play any mature games until he was 17. Now that I think of it, with him being a strong-willed child, I wonder how I won that battle year after year. Even at 18 it was only zombies and aliens he could take out. Now that hes been to Afghanistan he wont play the games.
Good for you and your son both, huldah1776!
The declaration means nothing. It is the standard thing that is said after every racially motivated murder if the perp is darker than the victim. It is actually a recorded message that plays automatically in every such circumstance.
Sorry. Wrong thread.
He sounds like a very good young man. Having a special occasional treat like that at Gram’s house is lots of fun.
Colt Detective Specials are single/double action revolvers.
He could easily have cocked the hammer by using both thumbs to do so, or he could have used both trigger fingers to pull the double action trigger. I suspect using both thumbs to cock the hammer first because it is easier.
8 year old boys can have considerable variety in size and strength.
