Slightly off-topic, but yesterday evening I was driving home, and I tuned to a rock station on the radio. Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue has a show at that hour, and he was sniggling about Christians. He said, "I invite Satan into my life, right here and now."
There are idiots.....and then there are IDIOTS. The guy is going to find out there are real consequences to doing what he did, and many of them will occur in THIS life.
Satan was already in his life, so that was rather redundant of him... he hasn’t done anything truly new, just more of it.
Anyhow he can still blow off the dominance of Satan if he chooses by inviting an infinitely larger God into his life. He’s currently putting his trust in an entity that is a little runt in God’s sight.
God initially sees situations like this as a pity, but if the person persists to the end of their life, then they get laughed to hell. Hatred has taken the rightful place of joy and love to them, and they’d sooner be miserable but rebels to the end, than give in to God. I tend to think they actually kind of like it there in hell, as miserable and tormented as they are. It’s you or I who could not tolerate being there for a moment.
