100% dead on correct.
But the last couple times I said freepers were funding the demise of America through their refusal to cut dish/cable, several put Football and Nascar above it...because they just had to be entertained.
Before we can do what this article says, and we should, we collectively need to get our priorities straight.
Or keep funding the companies and the propaganda. Facts do not lie.
Supporting a boycott is just to hard for many but it is the one thing we can do to hurt our enemies short of war.
The list of companies and organizations that should be hurt that I can honestly do without has to be huge. Soliciting them only hurts us.
What a shame comfort and entertainment take precedence over principle.
I already don't do business with any of those five companies, I also refuse to buy another GM product ever again, period.
I also don't have Cable or Satellite TV (dropped DirecTV last August) and instead have over-the-air TV. Occasionally rent a movie via my Roku device (gee, I hope I don't have to give THAT up...) from Vudu (I hope they're ok....)
In principle, I agree that we should be very careful where and how we spend our money. I'm a cheap bastard (seriously cheap....) so I hardly spend money anyway. My own vehicle is 11 years old, going on 12. I'll drive it until the wheels fall off.
Even then, there are times when alternatives to products and services that are not from some whack-job left-wing environmental whackjob are hard to find.
We should all do the best we can and recognize that sometimes, there are no suitable alternatives.
