Romney's Top Donor Teams with Soros Front Group on Immigration Reform
Breitbart's Big Government ^ | August 23, 2013 | Matthew Boyle

According to a new report from USA Today, GOP mega donor Paul Singer is helping fund the National Immigration Forum (NIF) for its Evangelical Immigration Table (EIT) initiative. Singer is the founder and CEO of Wall Street hedge fund Elliott Management Corporation and the man who made Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign for president happen.

“Ali Noorani, the forum's [NIF’s] executive director, said financial resources for the Evangelical Immigration Table's efforts are coming from a range of supporters, including new conservative donors such as Paul Singer -- a hedge fund manager and major donor to Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaign,” USA Today’s Erin Kelly wrote on Wednesday.

Singer was not just any major donor to Romney's campaign, he was the major donor. By all accounts, Singer was the reason why Romney won the GOP nomination to face off against Obama.

“[P]erhaps none of Romney's Wall Street supporters will be more crucial to the candidate's success, or have more influence on his thinking, than Paul Singer,” Fortune Magazine’s Michelle Celarier wrote in April 2012.

Romney is so close with Singer that he invested his own money with the donor's hedge fund. "According to Romney's financial disclosures, the trust managing his more than $200 million fortune has at least $1 million invested with Elliott," Fortune's Celarier added.....

Well, when you end up with one party nominating a Communist and the other one nominates a Socialist.

I still say Romney knew he was going to lose. Just like McCain.

That’s why we call them “ringers.”

We knew what we were getting with Romney; we knew what we were getting with Obama. And that’s why many of us voted for Romney.

The Founders are surely rolling in their graves over the choices we’re given these days....

I find it about par for the course that on a thread placing Romney’s political machine in bed with the biggest lib in existence, there are people saying we’d be better off with him in office.

The stupid just cannot be contained.

Soros been funding John McCain thru the Open Society for years. Yet, GOP nominated McCain, anyway

Reality is that Soros has his hands in a lot of GOP politicians. No surprise Romney folks are linked to Soros

Another Soros GOP man is Lindsey Graham. Need to rid the Senate of him in 2014

Some proof here that Romney would have been only 5% better than Obama. We have been given two Hobson’s Choices in a row.

Only Nixon could go to China, and were Romney president amnesty might already have been passed and Obamacare on track to be fully enacted.

I voted for the guy and way back in the day in MA I worked enthusiastically for his election, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that we would have been better off with him.

Just look at how much worse the government was on spending under W than under Clinton.

I seem to recall Soros saying during the campaign that he didn't care which of the two was elected.

Seems his bet was hedged either way.

The Commie/Lib/Fascists will tell you exactly what they're going to do. People one our side always seem surprised when they do it.

Because the truth is too much to bear. People want to believe Reagan still guides the GOP. They want to believe it sooooo bad they ignore the fact that Romney flat out said he wasn’t going to govern like reagan and then voted for him.

They ignore the amnesty, the homo support, the refusal to defend faith issues, the refusal to defund and in fact support much of the leftist agenda.

They, like Fox Mulder, want to believe.

We all want to believe in something. It’s hard when your girlfriend or wife dumps you, your dog dies and any number of ugly realities we face daily. But it does not make the reality of a given situation vanish.

For a great comparison of what the base is doing, look up the 5 stages of grief. Via Wiki...

DABDA, include:[2]

Denial — “I feel fine.”; “This can’t be happening, not to me.”
Denial is usually only a temporary defense for the individual. This feeling is generally replaced with heightened awareness of possessions and individuals that will be left behind after death. Denial can be conscious or unconscious refusal to accept facts, information, or the reality of the situation. Denial is a defense mechanism and some people can become locked in this stage.

Anger — “Why me? It’s not fair!”; “How can this happen to me?”; ‘”Who is to blame?”
Once in the second stage, the individual recognizes that denial cannot continue. Because of anger, the person is very difficult to care for due to misplaced feelings of rage and envy. Anger can manifest itself in different ways. People can be angry with themselves, or with others, and especially those who are close to them. It is important to remain detached and nonjudgmental when dealing with a person experiencing anger from grief.

Bargaining — “I’ll do anything for a few more years.”; “I will give my life savings if...”
The third stage involves the hope that the individual can somehow postpone or delay death. Usually, the negotiation for an extended life is made with a higher power in exchange for a reformed lifestyle. Psychologically, the individual is saying, “I understand I will die, but if I could just do something to buy more time...” People facing less serious trauma can bargain or seek to negotiate a compromise. For example “Can we still be friends?..” when facing a break-up. Bargaining rarely provides a sustainable solution, especially if it’s a matter of life or death.

Depression — “I’m so sad, why bother with anything?”; “I’m going to die soon so what’s the point?”; “I miss my loved one, why go on?”
During the fourth stage, the dying person begins to understand the certainty of death. Because of this, the individual may become silent, refuse visitors and spend much of the time crying and grieving. This process allows the dying person to disconnect from things of love and affection. It is not recommended to attempt to cheer up an individual who is in this stage. It is an important time for grieving that must be processed. Depression could be referred to as the dress rehearsal for the ‘aftermath’. It is a kind of acceptance with emotional attachment. It’s natural to feel sadness, regret, fear, and uncertainty when going through this stage. Feeling those emotions shows that the person has begun to accept the situation.

Acceptance — “It’s going to be okay.”; “I can’t fight it, I may as well prepare for it.”
In this last stage, individuals begin to come to terms with their mortality, or that of a loved one, or other tragic event. This stage varies according to the person’s situation. People dying can enter this stage a long time before the people they leave behind, who must pass through their own individual stages of dealing with the grief.

Anything look familiar?

And so it was...

This was known when Romney attacked Gov. Palin.

This was known when Romney attacked Sen.Thompson.

This was known when Romney gave up for his love, Soros,
AS PREDICTED here.
