“The victim was burned over 60 percent of his body and was initially hospitalized in extremely critical condition.”

Prayers up - this poor man is going to need them. I’m sure FReepers who work in the medical field can explain this better than I can, but it is my understanding that survival in extreme burn cases is a long shot. Even if the victim survives the initial trauma and damage, infection can set in extremely easily.

That’s not even considering the recovery ahead if he does make it.

Sadly, he will likely not survive....hell is not good enough for the perps.

I have heard there is a general rule that if you add together the percentage of the body burned and the age of the victim and end up with a number over 100, they aren’t going to make it.
So I hope he was under 40.
