Can they perhaps get him a wheelchair so he can wheel himself the required 10 feet away from the building? Does this place have handicapped ramps? Whether he’s a veteran or not, rules are rules. Sometimes the rules are absurd, but still, if people start making exceptions for this person or that person, etc. what’s the point of having rules?

“rules are rules”

Just curious....when the census take comes around....do you simply tell them how many people live in the house them them tell them to get off your property like I do?

or do you follow the “rules” and divulge a bunch of personal metrics that are not required by law?

Cuz the last time....the guy actually made five trips to my house trying to brow beat me into filling out his little list of questions.....he even tried to talk to my minor children more then once to fish information from them....they knew better and got me each time...
?

The last trip he threatened to call the county sheriff.....(which I had already been anticipating)...so I hit speed dial on my phone to the deputy at the dispatch desk (non emergency) I had previously talked to about the harassment from the census taker and handed the census taker the phone and said..”here the sheriff is on the phone”...

The census taker got beat red when the deputy instructed him to leave my property or he would be forced to complete a report for trespassing and harassment as I had already provided the information that was required by law.

He cussed me out all the way to his car...and I never saw him again...

A rule is valid if there is a logical reason behind it....could have...might....if...are not valid reasons

“Cuz I said so” is not a valid reason...

People come up with stupid rules all the time....and other people will follow them...

Just like the recent BS about an apt housing unit trying to ban residents from owning firearms...

I own rental property...and I know for a fact that I cant simply change “rules” on a whim and make my rental non smoking...

I’m bound by past practice and the original terms of the lease (besides the fact I wouldn’t do so)..

If rules are absurd, they need to be broken.

Sheep.
