I haven’t quite validated this line of thought, but I’m inclined to trust a Black who declares Conservatism more so than the White. It’s not that I distrust Whites, but the risk of Conservative association is steeper for our fellow Blacks obviously driven by conviction. To say ‘obviously’... shame on me.

Humility is difficult, but its reserved nature will endure any intemperate BS that confronts it.

Consider it validated. At least by me ;)

Whires have nothing to fear from declaring themselves Conservative other than po’d relatives, harsh words from the left and trouble at work/getting fired. Bad as it is, it’s nothing compared to the active campaigns up to and including physical beatings declared black conservatives deal with.

Remember the old South when and why the Klan rode for Democrat glory. It was to keep those uppity types subserviant and to scare the rest into staying away from their Republican allies.

Today, there are literal Klans with tans that do the same thing to their own race, should they leave the modern plantation. The Black Panther/gang bangers aren’t just selling drugs in ‘da hood.

So I have nothing but respect and too, more, for the black conservative that dares stand up. I think there a thousand reasons why when you get into the details of it. I just wish there were more.

If we could stop or even lessen the fear many have, there would be. But how many of us can they trust really? We can’t even trust each other to stand up to the people we would ask them to.
