Speaker John Boehner strongly hinted on a conference call with rank-and-file House Republicans that the upcoming continuing resolution will not be a do-or-die fight over Obamacare spending.
Our intent is to move quickly on a short-term continuing resolution [CR] that keeps the government running and maintains current sequester spending levels, Boehner told members, according to a person on the call.
While Boehner did not explicitly rule out using the CR for an Obamacare fight, other sources on the call said it was clear he preferred not to use the spending bill to draw a line in the sand. He didnt rule it out, but indicated to members that defund through CR is not the best strategy, a second source said. Beyond the CR, in November or December, lies a needed debt-ceiling increase that the House GOP has long planned to use as leverage.

It’s never the “right time” for Bonehead to draw a line in the sand.
Maybe he knows what many of us already suspect. We, as a country have already past the point of no return.

So, who does more harm to conservatives in America? Ohio’s John Boehner — or — S.C.’s Lindsey Graham. And what is your reasoning?
Thanks. R2z

I think you’re right. They are just going through motions, pretending what they do matters.

boehner will put off anything that requires being strong and facing possible defeat. He is neville chamberlain... he will put off, propagandize, obfuscate and bob and weave until obama wins.

boehner I think... because graham is actually is open in his treason... boehner is still bullsh!tt!ng his way through the motions... posing as a conservative. Which one actually causes more damage... hard to say. It is like asking who is worse... hitler or stalin... there is just so much in support for both sides of the argument.

Resettozero So, who does more harm to conservatives in America? Ohios John Boehner or S.C.s Lindsey Graham.
Is this a rhetorical question ?
Its like choosing between Cancer and Malaria ?
The difference between the two is choosing "Tweedle-Dum" or "Tweedle-Dee"
As for both of them , either get a spine , or get out of the way

John Boehner - The house controls the purse strings, the only real power conservatives have now. For some reason, Bonehead will not allow that authority to be exerted.

I think youre right. They are just going through motions, pretending what they do matters.
It's quite possibly the best approach.
IMHO, having first elected Obama, and then having reelected him after he and his Congress dragged the "bill that needed to be passed in order for people to find out what was in it" kicking and screaming into law using all sort of corrupt mechanisms, the American public deserves to see it implemented as designed.
Particularly the Millenials who voted for Obama based on him being a brand rather than on what he actually was.
Republicans have tried, and failed, to repeal ObamaCare dozens of times since gaining the House majority. Defunding it, or shutting down the government in an attempt to defund it, is just going to shift all sorts of blame for it onto them. Obama and the Dems need to OWN their not-so-little Frankenstein Monster. The only way they'll be forced to is if it's permitted to actually go into effect.
