In Spokane, Washington, on Wednesday night, according to local reports, World War II veteran and Battle of Okinawa survivor Delbert Belton was beaten by two African American teenagers described as between the ages of 16 and 19. Belton passed away Thursday morning of head injuries.

Things really were more peaceful and better regarding race relations in the ‘70s and ‘80s than this garbage going on now.... or at least it seems that way to me.

Apparently Trayvon served as an object-lesson that that’s NOT the way to do it-—much better to do it the old-school way-—gang violence, armed gang violence on an unsuspecting sitting-duck victim.
What gets me in this “it’s for Trayvon” madness is that the mother who is the spokesperson at all these rallies didn’t even raise “my son, Trayvon.”
All good points pinged at me (all of you who did). I can’t discredit self defense or being realistic, or natural consequences for criminal behavior. Yes- the black community needs to make a strong and bold stand against these crimes. They need to educate and inform and work hard. They need to stop escaping the responsibilities they have to THIS country for all she has given them.
They need to wake up- and be a part of the solution. 100% right.
I just wanted to chime in that we (me included) don’t let evil win over us.
We should keep talking and coming up with solutions, and waking people up to reality and yes, protecting ourselves and communities, including not letting our friends and our patriots go down the dark path.
It would be a terrible thing for the KKK to reemerge,

Snipers taking positions on rooftops,
Claymore mines at strategic street level locations,
Molotov cocktails thrown at project buildings,
Truck Bombs directed at center city Hospitals for indigents,
Home made explosives mailed to medicaid processing centers,
Cholera introduced into bath areas in slums.
I can think of hundreds of variants
And none of them are pretty...
None adequately descriminate between the innocent and the guilty,
And they ALL involve permitting

White flight started in the 1960s. Whites left whole cities and ran....think Detriot. Massive black riots and attacks in CA & NJ in the 60s. New York City in the 70s was a nut house of black on white crime. Millions of whites started to leave almost every major city in the USA starting 40 years ago, lol, how young are you:)
My father died just over 10 yrs. ago. He’d be 92 if he were still living. He was a WWII combat veteran. He also looked like Delbert Belton. - IMPEACH OBAMA before he continues opening his RACE BAITING pie hole and incites a race war! IMPEACH & REMOVE; he’s done enough damage - in spite of how much he thinks he “looks like Trayvon”.
This is, indeed, good news. Unlike the Christoper Lane slaying, there were no firearms involved, so the MSM won't be able to spin the story into a case for gun control. Instead, they will try to bury it.

See....you’re young:) The roots of this violence go back into the 60s. Some posters have mentioned that LEO & the media were able to cover this stuff up more before the internet, and that’s true. Where I live an elderly black pastor was beat to death last night by a black kid....
There sure are. Consider, for example, James Johnson from Duncan Oklahoma whose call to police lead to the arrest of the three young men accused of murdering Chris Lane. He was working on his car across the street from the house where his son lived - probably keeping an eye on him from a distance, when he heard from his son that the accused young men had threatened him, and he saw the alleged perps drive up.
He commented, after learning of the murder:
"They don't have proper fathers in their lives. You can't be a friend to your son, you got to be the father," he said.
"I feel very sorry for them, they have ruined their whole lives, but they did the crime, they have to do the time. Perhaps they can make a life inside, get God in their lives," he said.

President Obama should be supporting guys like James Johnson, not the kind of guy he says could have been his son.
Too bad a bunch of lawyers get in the way of real justice.
These thugs should be publically hung within a week.
Be armed and be aware of your surroundings at all times. That is how you can resist thugs of every color and ethnicity.
All I know is that almost all my friends and I are heavily armed and believe in the 2nd Amendment. It will be a bad day for any thug to test that proposition. If your state or locality does not allow you to protect yourself, move to one that does. That is what I did. I have the calm assurance that I am well protected.
They have awakened a whole group of people who won’t stand for this any longer. Thank you for your service, sir! Your brothers will seek justice in your name.
