Jimmy Durante - Young At Heart 1954
Songwriters: Carolyn Leigh, Johnny Richards Fairy tales can come true It can happen to you If youre young at heart. For its hard, you will find, To be narrow of mind If youre young at heart. You can go to extremes With impossible schemes; You can laugh when your dreams Fall apart at the seams; And life becomes exciting with each passing day, And love is either in your heart
or on its way. Dont you know that its worth Every treasure on earth To be young at heart? For, as rich as you are, Its much better by far To be young at heart. And, if you should survive To a hundred and five, Look at all youll derive Just by being alive! Now, here is the best part: You have a head start If you are amongst the very young
At heart. And, if you should survive To a hundred and five, Look at all youll derive Just by being alive! Now, here is the best part: You have a head start If you are amongst the very young
At heart.

"Angel Baby" by Rosie & the Originals was a bestseller in Los Angeles for decades. It seems to have been a follow-on to
Earth Angel.

In the instrumental interlude in "Angel Baby", the sax player blows a sour note, throws the pianist off, and the pianist throws the drummer off. It's almost a train wreck.
It was recorded on a broken down Webcor tape machine in one of the band member's garages.

All of their best songs were the ones Terry Kath sang on.

I like
this version. On July 28, 1966, it was playing on the car radio while we waited behind a flatbead truck loaded with tomatoes that was stopped for a red light in Naples. Before the light turned green, some
scugnizzi--the street kids of Naples--darted out and stole a crate of tomatoes from thhe truck.
