I hope he used several shells to be sure the felon was dead. This gentleman just saved the Iowa taxpayers millions of dollars in defending this scumbag in a trial, paying for years of appeals and keeping him incarcerated for life.

Long was serving a prison sentence for burglary and was scheduled for release in September 2014 He won't be getting out in 2014 anymore! Too bad he's going to recover; the taxpayers will be supporting him for a long, long time.
