It's just so strange, and wrong.
The mentality is seriously disturbing, and the reason I made the brochure (Stop, Drop, and Cower) was to illustrate the underlying mentalities as I perceive them.
Yes, I was trying to use a little humor/satire, but only because the raw truth would be rather prone to be rage-inducing on my part. (I get seriously PO-ed by the LEO & bureaucratic-enforcement mentality.)

Leaving it unchecked is seriously dangerous, condoning their behavior and encouraging more of the same; plus, these usurped-power types seriously cannot stand to be the butt of any joke.
