srael is disappointed at reports that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon backtracked on Monday from comments he made late last week according to which Israel faces bias and even discrimination at the world body.
We were disappointed when we saw these reported remarks, a senior Israeli official told The Times of Israel on Tuesday. Its clear that Israel has been systematically discriminated against at the United Nations and the way to start dealing with that issue is first of all to recognize that theres a problem.
On Friday, Ban told Israeli students in Jerusalem that Israel has been weighed down by criticism and suffered from biasand sometimes even discrimination at the UN.
But asked by a reporter at UN headquarters in New York on Monday if he believed there was discrimination against Israel and what he intend[s] to do about it, he said he did not believe there was discrimination, but also insisted Israel should not face bias at the organization.

Time for Israel to pull out of the U.N. Why would they want to remain in a body of troglodytes that is probably 99% Anti-Zionist and Anti-Semite ?
Dear Mr. Ban,
Ever since the UN ratified the recognition of Israel they have done everything in their power to undo that decision.
Israel can try to appease and answer the world body but it makes no difference.
One can only hope that Mr. Ban gets abducted by Al-Qaieda, then he will begin to understand.
Why would they want to harm someone that serves as a useful tool?
You are correct but the Jihadis sometimes do not think thigs true to the end, like during Ramadan when they are tired and hungry.
One can hope can’t he?
They’ve taken UN soldiers hostage in the past, so, why can’t they go for Ban?
The weasel’s thinking “evolved” overnight after certain people had a “discussion” with him.
This is why obama will make a perfect SecGen.
The ability to flip-flop and lie without a hint of ethical conflict is a key requirement for the job.
