DALLAS -- Texas Sen. Ted Cruz's message to Republican lawmakers who won't support defunding "Obamacare" at the risk of shutting down the government? "Don't blink." And he downplayed the effects of a possible shutdown, telling a Dallas crowd on Tuesday evening that the last time the government experienced "a temporary suspension of non-essential federal government spending," the military kept functioning and Social Security checks were distributed.
Cruz is leading the charge to defund President Barack Obama's health care law at what he calls "the single best time" to get rid of the law. And while Democrats who back the law certainly aren't on his side, Cruz has framed the fight so that they're not his only foes.
"We have to do something that conservatives haven't done in a long time: We've got to stand up and win the argument," Cruz told the crowd of thousands who gathered at the town hall style meeting.
Cruz said that if enough Republicans stand together, it will create an impasse to force the issue.
"A significant amount of Republicans assume, with an impasse, that President Obama will never ever ever give up his principles, so Republicans have to give up theirs," Cruz said. "If you have an impasse, you know -- one side or the other has to blink. How do we win this fight? Don't blink."

I don’t think they need to be extorted. I don’t see any evidence they have any fundamental problems with Obamacare/Romneycare.
The gop faction of the uniparty won’t blink. They’ll go ahead and make sure owebamacare is implemented on schedule. They’re just as anxious to implement it as the ‘rat faction is.

Why the hell doesn’t Cruz get the word out that under the HEALTH care law,Bureaucrats can show up at your home and demand to come in to inspect it,BECAUSE you may be a smoker,have a weapon,homeschool your children,are a VETERAN! I think he’ll try to block Cruz how he can, without being too obvious about it- unless you believe the theories that Obama has something on Boehner and thus controls and/or blackmails him
Though farfetched, it’s hard otherwise to understand the behavior of this House Speaker... so maybe he’d actually be OK with somebody else doing what he -Boehner- should have been doing

Well i do have a theory about why 0 has gotten so many R’s to turn D (RINO) and it has to do with promises, payoffs, or threats.
My guess, if Boehner is being blackmailed, is that it has something to do with his pot smoking daughter married to the rasta dude. just sayin.
If Boehner is being blackmailed for whatever reason, he should immediately resign his seat and go back to private life.
A situation like this could/would have bearing on what he does in Congress.

Of course he should! So should anyone else in same boat, but alas it appears they like their power and taxpayer funded perks more than they love this country..(that is if true of course).
