I’ve been the only white guy at numerous black functions and have always been well received. At nearly all these functions the black attendees were overwhelmingly Caribbean. From my experience, both Caribbean born and African born black people are generally less adversarial to white people than American born black people. And, of course, the stigma of being more adversarial does not apply to all American born black people.
BINGO! Same here.
That's because *they* haven't been indoctrinated from cradle to grave by the State and Culture to hate Whitey and obsess with carrying a grudge.
Good point. This hate-monkey is mostly on the back of indigenous US black. I worked in Mogadishu for a brief assignment a couple years ago. While there I supervised a staff of local Somalis. Great bunch of guys. They were humble, courteous, and had a fine work ethic. They responded rightly to respect. This was largely true for the African Union Army soldiers I encountered as well. (I did, however, have to contend with an entitlement attitude from the sorry-a$$, bankrupt government types who were content to let the UN do their work.)
