Yep, the Christians provoked it. Except that Christians were being attacked while Morsi was still in power. And Christians are being attacked by Muslims in Syria, Nigeria, Indonesia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Mali, Lebanon etc. etc. In fact anywhere and any times Muslims reach a numerically significant portion of the population they attack members of other religions.
The NYT is a paper run by anti-Christian bigots. Has been that way for years. In their eyes Christians deserve what we get.
