The Egyptian slight percentage of the populace, the intellectuals, the secularists, those that are Western oriented are in a state of shock as Obama supports Morsi and makes threats. we are talking about 35 years of good relations with Egypt, bringing her out of the Soviet fold and into the West, well, at least, sort of.

Now, within the span of 1.5 years Obama has blown it and big time. The power vacuum is opening and the US is picking it's nose. This has grave consequences for all of us.

Funny Middle East: Israel and Saudi Arabia working together to help the Generals stabilize the situation. If that means killing the armed (and sometimes not armed) radicals, then so be it. After the MB goes underground, where they belong, there will be a semblance of stability and then, where will the US be? Out int he cold with no access to the Suez Canal?
