“He may have. He was doing drugs because he was depressed, got violent and threatened the homeowner and her kids. The homeowner called the POPO and didn’t tell them he was violent and on hallucinogenic drugs. When the officer went into the house as requested by the homeowner, the officer was jumped, severely beaten and almost killed. The new rules are the same as the old: If you call 911 to get a guy out of your house and the operator asks you if he’s taken anything, you shouldn’t lie and say, “no.” “

Maybe. Maybe someone learned you have to lie to get police to act. I remember the last time I needed cops, because some drugged up nut was trying to get in the house thinking it was his home. it took nearly an hour. Maybe if I had told them he has a gun and so do I, they’d have had a little sense of urgency.

There is always the old joke about a guy calling 911 over burglars, and being told it would be an hour before the cops arrive.
He then called back and said take your time, I shot them. When the cops arrive a few minutes later, they arrested the criminals.
A cop asked “I thought you said you shot them?”
The citizen responded. “I thought you said it would be an hour before you could get me help.”

Response time wasn't questioned. Yeah, knowing the guy was out of his mind on dope probably would have caused the officer to wait for backup to arrive before walking in the house.

We homeschool and we were harassed by a female police officer who didn't like it, and she was from the same sheriff's department. We called this same sheriff's office when our neighbor's home was being attacked and it took them over an hour to respond to a very dangerous situation that I'm sure the responding officer didn't want to deal with. I know what bad police officers are and what they do. When we get a good one who actually does his job and shows up to the call, this is what happens.

After the deputy uses so much self-control in apprehending the guy the deputy almost dies and is permanently disfigured, the community harasses the deputy, his wife and his kid. Would YOU show up when someone called? I wouldn't.

Allowing those with immunity to sue the Sovereign Citizen is unconscionable.

Either grant immunity to both parties or to none.
