It is also possible that the above is true and his Marxism remains compatible with support of the Muslim Brotherhood at least for now and until the inherent incompatibility of Marxism and Islam can no longer be ignored while both regard the enemy of their enemy as their friend.
Personally I think his head was filled with Commie mush as a child, then indoctrinated and led down a path with radical ideologies and trained to be an activist and politician later, then finally given a mission goal and objectives and promised much if he achieved it. Being coddled as a child only contributed even more to his becoming a narcissist and sociopath with no empathy making the perfect tyrant. I’m guessing If he realized he were actually the one being controlled it would probably upset him to the end but that’s just a guess based on cases I’ve worked on in the past with professional conmen who have an insatiable desire to feel like they are the ones in control and the manipulator. There is one other speculation which we might consider and that is the power of the group dynamic. Consider leftism, especially extreme leftism such as communism, to be cult and the adherence surrenders his individuality to the cult in return for acceptance. Compare it if you like to the phenomenon of the 1970s, EST, which in my judgment was also a cult and which required submission to the approved doctrine which in exchange gained the accolade acceptance and Commeraderie.
Some with special talents or connections rose to the rank of moderator whose egos were further sustained as they dominated the meetings and drew adulation from the manipulated souls. Substitute "community organizer" for EST moderator and you have Barack Obama.
Of course, even the leader or organizer is being played but he has no conflict so long as he stays true to the ideology. In the modern Democrat party one can be a sexual deviant such as Bill Clinton and remain in favor so long as he adheres to the ideology.
From this cultish experience comes enormous feeling of integration and wholeness for the individual who submits.
