They aren't interested in debate. Their idea of 'debate' is to state their position, declare it correct, and punish the opposition.
Someone needs to explain that being intolerant of those they think are intolerant, and only tolerating those that believe like you, are not virtues. That’s just “I like those that like me and hate those that hate me.” Welcome to kindergarten.
Wish more blacks would make the connection and start objecting to the comparison.

For those who haven’t heard, Washington State just passed both laws ....... gay marriage and legalized marijuana.
The fact that gay marriage and marijuana were legalized on the same day makes perfect biblical sense because Leviticus 20:13 says, “If a man lies with another man they should be stoned.” I guess we just hadn’t interpreted it correctly before!

The little kids would look up at them every now and then and the other parents looked on with mild disgust... Then the petting got more serious... so I said to them, "why don't you guys get a room"... probably not the smartest thing to do.. but the two of them got up and left - and they didn't even have a child in the group that was playing.
Most of us had assumed they were parents but NO, they had chosen that part of the park to make out BECAUSE it had the most access to young children.

Hiring a waitress to play a homophobe while trying to fuel empathy to gay parents reminds me of Norman Lears All in the Family with Archie.
You can rig the game and make sure all your oppoents arguments are silly sounding as w Archie when you write the scripts and hire the actors.
Poor well meaning Archie believed all these bad things about blacks, wimmin, jews, etc because that is what his dad taught him between beatings. And many Archies watched him because they empathized with him, even as he was being made fun of. (making the show a success)
But I will say that unlike many conservatives, liberals know how to use creative art to get their message out to others, or more-so to destroy the others alternative message. On this side its pretty much ‘preach to the choir’ via AM radio talk.

FNC did a Republican leaning SNL like half hour satire show once a week back during GWBs second term when the GOP had lost all credibility and people were looking for dramatic change. It was the worst possible timing.
(Sunday nights 10pm I recall)
The time to do that was 2009 and 2010 when Dems were in charge of everything and people were looking for opposition to them. But the idea was gone by then written off as a failed idea.
