I was in the USAF from 1987 to 1994. As for all the branches, it had to have contained the most liberals. I originally went in to be a jet engine mechanic, but was convinced (yeah, talk up the spy stuff to a 17-year-old) to become a linguist. I’d say half the folks I worked with would have supported the bozo in chief we have today and his current agenda. I found a bunch of my old buddies on Facebook a couple of years ago. Man, I can’t believe I used to hang out with those guys. Liberals worse than any I’ve known.

For the most part, the air force is distant from the enemy, and the huge bulk of the air force never looks an enemy in the eye. I can see the logic that, in general, one type of person would go for that type of military life, and another type of person would enter the type of service that requires closing with and engaging the enemy.
