as well as a rebuke from those intellectual icons Sybrina Fulton and Ben Crump who were on the same program.
of course nobody gives a crap how it effects whites
Murder rates have been going down nationwide, not just in Bloomberg's concentration camp.
MAke them all walk through a metal detector.
If the moronic justice system in NYC would just lock up the violent criminals for life in solitary, the problem would diminish.
There’d be no one left to vote for Bloomie.
Anyone supporting this bullshiite Stop and Frisk program is an enemy of the Constitution, plain and simple. There is no friggin wiggle room. It’s crap like this that slowly erode our God given liberties.
Correctamundo!
We've let the police take more and more power for too long. We now live in a police state because of it. Correlation is not causation. Stop stop-and-frisk. Sooner or later, you or I will be targeted.
whites are the minorities in NYC
Comish Kelly is half right. If they stop stop & frisk the minority community will suffer. If the keep stop & frisk they violate the constitution.
Actually - NYC murders dropped 70%. A much higher rate than the rest of the country including other large cities.
William Bratton did something right.
Best to give Mr. Benjamin Jealous just what he wishes. He won’t sober up until he is hit on the head with reality (maybe).

I believe it has much more to do with gentrifying the city; Bloomberg is pricing out the welfare population. Remember the talk about congestion pricing, whereby people would bascially have to pay a toll to drive in parts of Manhattan during certain peak times? Bloomberg wants his playground for the wealthy, and for the most part he’s getting it. Stop & frisk is an unconstitutional step towards his goal; I don’t know how anybody can defend it with a straight face.
Compstat made a big change in the focus of the police and brought down the amount of crime. Stop & Frisk was just a small part of a much bigger plan. It also involved getting rid of corrupt cops and making area chiefs responsible for lower crime in their jurisdictions. Bratton followed the "Broken Windows" philosophy. Great article about policing, if anyone wants to read it. It's always the first reading assignment I give to my criminology students. It was a very controversial idea at the time, but it seems to work where it's been tried.

“More Guns, Less Crime”- Lott “Less Blacks, Less Crime”- anybody who cares to look at stats
