Yep. The mother decided her son really was a girl before they even knew the difference and forced that on them. Sick.
The really annoying thing here is that there exist a small number of people with peculiarities of birth where their sex really IS an issue. Unfortunately, those people are now lumped in with wack jobs or slightly confused kids who would have turned out fine on their own, except for being egged on by their enablers.
