Saturday Night Live Video ^ | August 17, 2013 | self

Posted on 08/17/2013 11:41:10 AM PDT by potlatch

In a skit titled "Halloween Party", Senator Obama wore an Obama Mask himself.

The November 2007 skit was a parody of "Senator Barack Obama stops by the Clintons for a Trick or Treat".

[LOL, if I weren’t homebound I’d love to “greet” him as he drives by!]

I’d love to see what ‘sign’ you’d be holding!!

Yes !!!

I usually try to grab an oval section from somewhere on the face that is middle tone...and then use a few layers to tone the edges to give it dimensionanlity.

the eyelids on the sharpton and Jacksome image required very little adjustment given the heavly posterzation ...ala HOPE and CHANGE!

Im certain that the NSA is amused!

Mee too.

I use them as they somehow manage to “bring out” certain aspects of the “bearers” expression that one might otherwise miss...making an annoying face even more surreally annoying and hopefully comical

Good job on that Mikey! I never mastered Photoshop and have used other, more tedious methods through the years.

I remember when Photoshop came on a single Floppy Disk...with no layers no nothing basically....

its not made conceptualizing any easier over the years but it has made some tasks a bit less tedious

Being able to add the appropriate “noise” to painted sections of human skin makes it look far more realistic.

If Im not mistaken Al Sharpton or Jesse jackson was my first “victim”...

That’s completely different. He’s hip, cool, and ironic. Rodeo clowns may risk their lives to save others. But they are not hip, cool, or ironic.

I started with Picture It and still use Jasc Animation Shop - but I do a lot of painting. Doesn’t matter, it is relaxing and I enjoy ‘creating’. One of my first was making Chris Matthews drool....

Upgrades in Windows did away with Picture It but I loved that program.

Jasc Animation Shop

I REMEMBER the name!

Remember the app that removed Jaggies from images back before there was such a natural function in the newer programs?

Adobe Or SUN Microsystems once used an ad that was an image of a guy swimming .......down a road...on Nearby Mount Tamalpais....once I saw that I was HOOKED,,and off to the races

Jasc Animation Shop is no more, Corel took it over and then did away with it. There are thousands of people online still crying about it. I managed to save the program from my old computer.

Had to look up ‘jaggies’ since I seldom use Photoshop, but I have to work with black lines around images in A-shop. I don't have the patience to start learning P-shop after all these years.

My first foray into the world of computers and photoshop was in 1993

I bought my first copy of Photoshop....at a garage sale for 10 Bucks!

I was thrilled to be able to get a nearly free upgrade to Version Five I think it was...

ONE day The guys at Adobe will figure out how to export an animated GIF of reasonable quality directly from FLASH professional> as it stand s now I lamost always have to export the FLASH file as a QUicktime movie...and open it in photohsop. THAT is tedious
