TRENTON, N.J. Republican Gov. Chris Christie on Friday vetoed a ban on .50-caliber rifles that was vigorously opposed by firearms rights advocates and gutted a proposal overhauling the states gun permit law.
Christie said the permit changes adopted by lawmakers were impractical because they rely on technology that hasnt been developed.
None of the technology necessary for this system exists.
the smartcard called for by this bill cannot be implemented now or any time in the foreseeable future, Christie said in his conditional veto message.

Heads, we lose; tails we lose, if that a-hole is on any ticket.
And when squirrels fly? Wait, they already do...or is it even a stopped clock finds a nut once in a while? LOL!
I'm sure Khris Krispy has an anterior motive. Probably has a deal with 0bama.
“Probably has a deal with 0bama”
I’d bet he does.
That proves it! Christie IS running for President in 2016!!
I not sure if the dems will cause it or those elites who pull the strings of the dems, and who want to remove firearms from the serfs, but they will cause it, and use their first rule of thumb that no tragedy will go unused politically. It’s how they play the game.
Do not get me started on a 50 cal.
I can take a 338 WIN MAG with solid tip bullet and at 800 yards drill thru a .5” plate and with same type bullet in a 50 cal the bullet will melt out without penetrating.
Round in the 338 WIN MAG cost me 3 bucks to reload.. and is hald the weight to hump around
These lawmakers that stand up and pound their chests (in BOTH parties) do not have a clue of what they are talking about. Someone hands them a prop and a 3x5 card with some words on it and off they go.
Frickin’ drama queens
“Once in a while, even “Kripsy Kreme” gets one right. “
Uhh, can’t believe people are falling for this - slight of hand trickery. Vetoed a ban on technology that doesn’t exist. Really?
