Judge: Foreigners can sue U.S. pastor over sermons [Religious Freedom is Dead]

A federal judge has backed a homosexual-rights group in its claim that members were injured by an American pastor’s biblical preaching in Uganda against homosexual behavior.

But the ruling from Judge Michael Posner in a case brought by Sexual Minorities Uganda against Pastor Scott Lively of Abiding Truth Ministries could mean much more. It could establish that an international consensus disavowing long-held biblical standards could trump the U.S. Constitution.

The rules say that CONGRESS cannot prohibit the free exercise of religion.

Nothing says that Marxist useful idiots and their lavender stormtroopers are prevented from shutting you down.

They don’t need to win.
The mere prospect of a lawsuit will effectively shut people up.

"The bad guys win no matter the outcome."

Not really. I read the back of "the book." They lose. Big time. Keep the faith.

” This isn’t just about homosexual rights. It’s about taking down the United States pure and simple.’

That is it.

This is one of those cases that many lawyers would jump on, simply to have an appellate win. It is almost a freebie, especially with the hoops and trips that the judge went through on his decision. And I’d almost bet that the lawyer would cross his fingers that it was held up on appeal, so they could go to the SCOTUS for the smackdown.

Just consider this: If this is held up, every single ruling that has supported the liberals who claim to be a church, Westburo Baptist, is out the window and new claims can immediately be sought. SCOTUS doesn’t want to go anywhere near that stinkpot, and this is going to get overturned.

As for legal fees, I think a certain church is going to find their legal fund properly pumped up and will make it through with no problem.

With a homo president no wonder homo-ness is taking over. If you dont let the homos into your church they cant be offended or “damaged”, however if you don’t allow them in they’ll say you’re discriminating and sick the feds on you. I say let them in then preach about homosexuality being a sin. If your’re going to be harrassed or sued by the feds you might as well make it worth your time...

Lawlessness. Pastor should not have submitted to the court’s jurisdiction. When default is entered, fellow right thinking Americans should take up arms in defense of any enforcement of judgement.

The left just cannot wait to turn the guns on us.

Most of them would not live to regret such a decision.

I’m an evangelical. I think there are plenty of us who will give our lives to stand up for our beliefs. I don’t know too many who think we won’t have hard times.

Corrie Ten Boom said that the preaching of ideas along the lines of the rapture left the European church unprepared for the persecution they faced from the Nazis.

Did Corrie Ten Boom believe that there would be NO rapture, or did she just deny the pre-tribulation rapture?

If she says “no rapture,” she is dead wrong.

Can we start a new trend where people can sue the sexual degenerates for harrassing us by promoting a lifestyle where pedophilia and sodomy is the end aim? (no pun attended)
