I refuse to go watch a fight club. I know the minute I walk in there I will have to fight.
I guess my definition of what constitutes a "real man" and that of the author differ just a bit.
A real man won't back down from a fight, but he doesn't fight just for the fun of it. That's more along the lines of adolescent behavior.

They have the same thing in the White House basement. Hillary was reigning champ, and Reggie used to pin Barrack every time.
They are gearing up for something large, while most American men are too effeminate to work on their own cars. This will be interesting in the next 5/7 years.
Not too effeminate to work on my own car, I just don’t want to remove 37 pounds of computer gear and emissions controls to get to my alternator.
But oddly enough, Barack didn’t seem to mind.
