Pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva has condemned the ‘stunt’ performed by Swedish athletes to supporting the LGBT community during the World Championships in Moscow, calling it ‘disrespectful’ to Russia.
High jumper Emma Green-Tregaro competed with her fingernails painted in the colours of the rainbow flag, taking a stand against the recently passed anti-gay law, during qualification at the world championships today.
Isinbayeva, who took her third World Champtionship gold medal today hit back at Green-Tregaro’s move, saying homosexual relationships are not ‘normal’.
‘It is disrespectful to our country. It is disrespectful to our citizens. We are Russians; maybe we are different to European people, to other people in other lands.’ Isinbayeva added that she does not consider homosexual relationships normal, but said it was Russian ‘history’ not to.
'We consider us normal people, where boys live with women, women live with boys. It comes from our history. We never had any of these problems in Russia and we don't want to have it in the future.’

It’s interesting how the “respect diversity” crowd hates diversity if it means disagreeing with them.
So how high did Emma jump?
Yes, it's what she's recently won. She has two Olympic golds and three world championship golds (in the open) by now.
No group has a right to hi-jack it for their own agenda - but that is what a lot of clueless people are now going to find out: the gay community doesn't want equality - they want special rights - and they are going in invade every aspect of society - and demanding tolerance ONLY for THEIR beliefs.
And wait until the San Francisco parades start across the country - and they WILL - but by the time the clueless wake up - too late.
I see that now.
I still think this is sociopolitical hype.

Wikipedia says nothing about her vault jumping. It's unlikely that those two were in competition in Moscow.
I don’t know. I think they should move the games home, permanently. To Greece. And the old Olympians were gay as lavender.
Just keep it there, and let the rest of the world have normal championships.

Homosexuals: if your main goal in life is to gain unfettered access to prepubescent boys so that you can rape them, then there is something seriously wrong with you! And also for the governments that support this behavior.

Both of these women were in Moscow yesterday competing to qualify for the Olympics. I actually happened to be watching as the Women’s High Jump event was occurring and saw both of these women jump, though I don’t recall the result. These are not no-names; they are world-class athletes with many medals, top placements, and in some cases records.
Lately Russia, including Pravda, is making a whole lot more sense to me than the former “America” and its scumbag president and newsrooms.
