RUSH: Gallup. Now, the headline to this story: "Obama's Economic Approval Slips to 35%." That's not the way to look at this, because they have a chart here. Let me read to you the lead from the story. "Despite President Barack Obama's renewed focus on the nation's economy this summer, he scores worse with Americans on the economy than he did in June. His approval rating on the issue, now 35%, is down seven percentage points, and his ratings on taxes and the federal budget deficit are each down five points. During the same period, his overall approval rating is down three points."
Now, what this means, if you look at the chart, they have the disapproval number on top because it's higher. The disapproval number for Obama on the economy is 62%, and if you ask me, that's the number. The bigger the number, the better to make the case. Now, nothing wrong with saying only 35% approve, but that's 62% disapprove. Sixty-two percent. It dovetails with the following data on people who don't want Obamacare, and once again today I have an Obamacare Stack that if I wanted to, I could take up an entire hour with it. I probably will, interspersed with all the rest of today's program. Sixty-two percent disapprove of Obama's handling of the economy, about the same number that disapprove of Obamacare. And he's been talking about it all summer.
The Limbaugh Theorem, he's been out there talking about jobs, gonna create jobs, gonna grow the economy. These rotten Republicans and everybody standing in his way. He's trying to do everything he can to build up the American people and reignite the economy. It's not possible for this economy to grow given what Obama's doing to it. He's shrinking it. He's taking parts of it, transferring it to the federal government. It can't grow. It's not possible for it to grow. But this is a huge number.
Now, you have to ask, who are these people? Got some low-information people in here. Sixty-two percent disapprove of Obama's handling of the economy. But there doesn't seem to be any outrage. Well, you and I know there is outrage out there. What do you think this clown thing at the Missouri State Fair was about? The entire episode of the Obama clown at the Missouri State Fair was a way of illustrating -- people in the Heartland and their dissatisfaction with the leadership of this country. Not dissatisfaction with the person's race, but dissatisfaction with the job he's doing. That's what it was about, and people in many parts of the country have reached their wits' end, and they're trying to at least laugh about it.
Talk about reading Facebook and getting all depressed. Hell, folks, just trying to find a job, trying to get a raise, trying to think about the standard, ordinary, everyday climbing the ladder of success is a depressing thing in this country because of the leadership and the lack of anybody in charge that knows what they're doing. Well, they do, obviously, they know what they're doing. They're just trying to transform. Anyway, it's a big number. Sixty-two percent disapprove of the way Obama is handling the economy. I'll tell you, if this were a Republican president, this would be all Wolf Blitzer would be talking about today. And they would be sending reporters out to find people in as depressed as economic circumstance as they could for man-on-the-street interviews.
They'd have these people detailing every miserable fact of their lives, and they would be blaming it all on George Bush or whoever the Republican Party president was. They'd be blaming it on the Republican Congress. They'd be blaming it on talk radio, the misery, the malaise, the fog of utter depression that has swept over this entire country. Sixty-two percent disapprove of the economy as being run by Obama. Under normal circumstances, this would be occupying the media morning, noon, and night, with individual after individual after individual bemoaning his economic plight. Today, it's not even a yawner.

The country is filled with ignorant, sub-human filth who keep voting for the man they so disapprove of.
It doesn’t matter what the country thinks, we have a moron as House Leader who will do nothing to stop the fraud in chief.
” we have a moron as House Leader who will do nothing to stop the fraud in chief.”
A moron, and a whore(McConnell). We be in great shape: )
It DOES matter what the country thinks! The country obviously thinks this kenyan, marxist, muslim, bisexual, cokehead, America-hating, piece of filth is groovy! THAT IS WHY HE IS IN THE WHITE HOUSE!
Think he cares?
Or lack thereof
When Walmart pulls the plug on this rotten economy, you know things are getting worse, not better.
zero is not a leader. He is just someone who flies around the country giving pointless speeches. When he is not doing that he is busy destroying the country. That is something that he excels at.
If that’s leadership, I’m the richest guy in Colorado.
They DISAPPROVE of his economic policies, DON’T like his foreign policies, but think he is a great President otherwise.
Can't be said enough!
It's a double betrayal when you see what's happening, ain't no coincidence.
They have been helped by a “party of opposition” that acts like the political equivalent of the Keystone Kops.
Hey! Don’t insult whores with comparisons to Mitch McConnell!
There is NO POSSIBLE EXCUSE for the American voter. NONE. THEY DID THIS TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure filth.
Yes; multiple times each Election. That's the 47% we aren't allowed to talk about.
1. Phase out the economy-inhibiting income tax, considering all the disadvantages we know of the income tax in general. Replacing it with FairTax means we no longer tax the process of earning money.
2. Aggressively audit every Federal, state and local government agency for bureaucratic overlap, agency bloat and obsolete and/or unneeded regulations and use the audit results to physically trim down the size of government by 30% or more.
3. Develop a clear, aggressive energy development program to tremendously expand oil and natural gas production and develop longer term alternatives like putting up more wind farms in the Upper Midwest, solar farms in the Southwest, developing safer forms of nuclear power such the liquid fluoride thorium reactor (LFTR) and eventually develop nuclear fusion.
Implement these three and our economy will take off like a rocket within 5-7 years.
sorry....
He. Doesn’t. Care.
Gay Boy president doesn't care about them and neither do I.
The only approval polls that count were the ones that got this American Nero elected in 2008 and 2012.
