The software used on FR looks for and detects html in you typing.

If you use ANY html in your typing, the software tries to display the post using proper, classic, correct html.

I looked back at one of your previous attempts to post a link.

You used html style line breaks in part of your message,
and then you entered the text of a web link.

Proper, classic, correct use of html does not allow for just pasting the text of the link; it has to be formatted correctly.

So your solution is to do one of these two things:
...use NO html at all; OR use html correctly.
