Rubber masks of Nixon and every president since have been used in less than flattering manners, but this one incident in flyover country gets people fired?
No one even uttered ill toward Obama.
The "most powerful man in the world" has a pretty thin skin--either that or his worshipers have one for him. My Reaction? Boycott Missouri Rodeo until they are reinstated. The fired rodeo clown has put his life on the line for others--and that is more valuable, imho, than the piker in the oval office.
It seems that Barack’s image has been parlayed by a foolish crowd into representing the Generic Black Man.
The problem is the abuse of the image by THOSE folks, not by the rodeo clown!!
I bet said clown would be very welcome in Tennessee.
By the way, I’ve been praying that He will allow Barack to allow some grace through and ask those folks please stop seeing him and his image as representing the entire black population of America. And please get over themselves.
But he’d have to fall back on God to get to that point of humility. That choice is up to Barack. Nobody can make him do it. And God can’t force him to do it, but God can orchestrate events in a manner well beyond our ken to bring us a Barack who would do exactly that. I still believe it worth the prayer. If it happens we will be exceedingly glad. I’m not mad at Barack. However God and I have an affair to settle with Old Scratch.
