I am living right in the middle of this TOD nightmare. At the end of my street they are putting lots of affordable work and live units and it is part of the TOD. My neighborhood has been here since the 1950’s it has about 500 single family homes but now we have about 300 new neighbors and they are for low income. It is crap. They took out a race track that had been here for over 30 years and the people wanted to keep it but the City Council opted for the TOD. San mateo sucks.
Ouch, that's why they tore down Bay Meadows? To build hive housing? Yeesh.
