Did you get a message that someone else was using your email address? I hope they haven’t been hacked because that happened to my son today so I had him send it to my trash email and when I tried to sign on it said that there had been suspicious activity and to change my password.

No, but I got a notification at my alternate email address, giving me a code that I supposedly requested for my Hotmail/Outlook account’s settings. I made no such request. I rarely check that email, and the notification was about two months old.

Today’s problems were no simple hacking. I didn’t get a “wrong password” notification. My email page simply wouldn’t load. I got no error message about it until after I sent two or three reports. Then the error message stating they were having a problem with Hotmail (not my account specifically, but Hotmail in general, like it was a system wide problem) referenced the time they became aware of this Hotmail problem. Same time as my first report. They had this problem with Hotmail for about an hour before I filed my first report, but nobody else complained? I don’t think so. My Hotmail Calendar and Contact List were down at the same time. My Calendar, which has nothing in it, was back up in a few minutes. My Contact List took about half an hour and it came back up. My email, which I never delete anything from, took about four hours. All other features (which i never use) continued to work the whole time. They didn’t even leave a kiss on my pillow!
