I have cited specific law and provided a link to the Statutes at Large where you can read it. The fact that natural borns need no action taken by Man to make them such really isn't that hard of a concept to understand.
Unless one thinks that all 'law' is whatever government says it is.

No, it isn't.
But neither is the simple fact that all natural born citizens need to be registered with the state. That is, after all, what a birth certificate is: paperwork filed with the state that recognizes, acknowledges and protects the rights of the infant throughout his life.
The fact that Cruz's parents may or may not have had to file paperwork is immaterial to his natural born citizen status. All parents have to do that, even twelfth-generation Virginians who have lived on the same plot of land since the colony was founded.
