Heat two tablespoons olive oil in heavy pan. Add one clove crushed garlic, half a shallot, minced, salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Saute until shallots are translucent. Add a big bunch of cleaned and chopped kale and a bit (1/2 cup) of chicken broth. Toss the kale until coated with the oil mixture with some tongs and slap the lid on. Steam until tender but still a bit crisp. Throw a bit of crumbled crispy bacon on top. Enjoy!

Everything’s better with bacon.

i am growing kale... how many minutes? I am thinking three cloves of garlic, some minced sweet onion and buttah... bacon is all good if it’s “uncured”!
