Do you want to be governed by a Canadian citizen?

No. I support Ted Cruz.

Canadian laws will not be used to dictate to us who we can elect as our president. Just stick with our Constitution and don't let the Canadians confuse you. They can do what they want on their side of the border (except call us bad names!).

Yes, there are no Canadian laws like official bilingualism, single payer health care, gay marriage.

The problem is not Cruz, the problem is the precedent. We already are seeing America being taken down the exact same path as Canada (with about a 10 year or so delay.

Enough is enough. If I wanted to be governed by Canadians, I’d go live there. I like Cruz, but not as president. I would rather have a plain, simple American.

The issue is not with Canadian laws, it is with ours. Cruz is a citizen by virtue of a law that did not exist in 1787.

You can't change the meaning of the words after the ink has dried.
