I have seen film of a ship breaking operation in India, and I’m willing to bet they have two fatalities every fifteen minutes.
What does that mean?
The fumes in that engine room couldn’t have been any more toxic than the brain pollution that series pumped out once a week. Those plots were violations of international maritime law.

I think I’ve seen the show about India. It’s a business that substitutes cheap labor for expensive capital, and why worry about a few deaths when there are always plenty more workers?
It’s a very unpleasant world out there.
