I totally agree with you. NY foisted this dirtbag on the rest of the country by electing him to congress, where he was so obnoxious other liberals couldn't stand him. Now they deserve to have him run the city , where he'll buy off every special interest group and union that approaches him. NY will be back to being "fun city" like it was in the 70s.
If he gets the nomination NYrs wouldn't dream of voting the (R) , who from the little I know about him seems like a decent guy. They'll pull the lever for Weiner because ,"he shares our progressive values." Though those "progressive values" include exactly what Weiner's famous for. After all, look how they rallied around Clinton in a very similar situation. The only reason Clinton didn't do what Weiner did from the WH was there was no FB back then.
