So what do Kickstarter donors get from this? The only two projects I've funded on it have been publishers getting enough preorders to guarantee printing costs on projects. Thus you get a physical product when the project is completed. Do Spike Lee's donors get at least movie tickets?

OK, I checked out his page. At low level you get various patches or posters from his movies, signed pages from his scripts up through being an extra in the movie or spending a day with him editing the movie. And for $10,000 you get to go to dinner with him and sit next to him at a Knicks game.
