"Climate change" (instead of "global warming")is the new code word. Of course, one flap of the hummingbird's wings in my back yard this morning could have dire effects on climate in 34.2 years, according to some estimates.

It’s actually the old code word. The UN established the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change back in 1988, before the term “global warming” started saturating the news outlets (at least as far as I can remember).
