A St. Paul man is fighting for his life after a brutal beating late last Sunday night.
The beating took place a block from a police station.

Even if Ray Widstrand survives he will likely have permanent brain damage. TwinCities.com reported:
Four young males have been arrested after the senseless, brutal beating of a man on a late-night walk Sunday on St. Paul’s East Side, police said Friday.
The victim, Ray Widstrand, 26, of St. Paul, reportedly was in critical condition at Regions Hospital with potentially fatal brain swelling.
Police found Widstrand lying on the ground, bleeding from his nose and mouth, his pants removed and shirt torn, according to a criminal complaint filed by the Ramsey County attorney’s office.
“He’s in the most difficult time right now, as far as swelling and cranial pressure. We’re in that critical time,” his father, Peter Widstrand, said.
According to the complaint, Widstrand was attacked when he tried to walk through a group of 30 to 50 juveniles and young adults fighting near Payne and Minnehaha avenues in the Payne-Phalen neighborhood about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
His family said he had been living in a nearby apartment for about two months.
“An innocent man was walking down the street and brutally attacked by a group of youth,” said Sgt. Paul Paulos, a police spokesman. “He was out for a walk and decided to go through this group and was assaulted and knocked unconscious.”(continued)

They don’t need to. All they must show is that they participated in the beating. Similar to a drag race where one car hits a pedestrian, both drivers can be held responsible. Summers v. Tice
Not necessary if they charge them with felony murder (if the victim does die). If a group of people are committing a felony, and someone dies as a result, they can all be charged with felony murder.
They don't even have to have directly caused the death. For example, say a group of thugs try to rob someone. That person tries to run away by crossing the street and is killed by a car. Even though the car actually caused the death, the robbers could be charged with Felony Murder.

Decay, decadence and violence can all be reduced with an “iron fist” of enforcement and punishment. If apprehended, these “youths” should either be put away for life or sent to Syria and executed by the Shahiba...

The Zimmerman prosecution was designed to make Whitey second guess himself in defending his own life or the safety of others.
I have to say if I saw a group of yutes, black or white or Hispanic, I would turn around and go the other way. Even if I was armed. Chances are they were armed.
The pols and media are on the other side, FRiend, with almost no exceptions.
Discretion is often the better part of valor. No need to look for trouble. Just be ready if it finds you anyway.
