You can’t “bypass” rights....you can attempt to ignore,
minimize or infringe on them but you can’t “bypass” them.
And attempts to diminish rights only succeed to the extent
that people allow the attempts to succeed.

But ultimately a free person only has the rights they
are willing to fight for, kill for and die for.
