Correct. The article linked in Post 2 notes:
"According to the complaint, at 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 4, St. Paul police found 40 to 50 young adults fleeing the scene of a man on the ground with blood coming from his nose and mouth. Once at Regions, the victim was found to have severe and potentially fatal brain swelling."
I wonder how much of his injuries came from being knocked out, with his head landing on the ground from a standing position. Natasha Richardson fell and encountered the same problem, ultimately dying from acute subdural hematoma caused by the fall.
