Reminds me of a situation a few years back.... my two younger daughters (around 6, 7 years old at the time) and a friend decided to paint the bathroom sink with some sparkly nail polish. "Oooh, look Mommy, isn't it pretty?!?!" LOL.... It took about two full bottles of acetone remover, and a good 45 minutes of elbow grease, to get (most) of it off. Thank God no one from CVS was patrolling the neighborhood or I'd've been arrested for running a meth lab!

When my daughter (taught to think for herself and naturally inclined not to bear fools gladly) visited THEIR house, three of them were in the bathroom getting ready for bed. The girls, thought somewhat less sheeply than their mom, were very young and didn’t know any better. They were horrified to see my daughter wiping out the sink with her hands and warned her that there were more germs in the sink than the toilet. When it came time to brush their teeth, she grabs her toothbrush and heads for the toilet making like she’s going to get water on it with which to brush. They’re, of course, apoplectic, so she’s like “What? You said it was cleaner than the sink!”
