San Diego Mayor Bob Filners endurance in the face of mounting sexual harassment accusations may be driven by his need to get out of an even bigger problem: a federal criminal investigation that has received little attention from the national media.
The San Diego Creeper is the subject of an FBI probe of what looks like a quid-pro-quo arrangement with a local developer. I love that this guy won’t resign. I think he should stay as an example of what you get when you elect a democrat.
No. What’s keeping him in office is that he is a Dem. If he was a Repub, the Left would be screaming from the rooftops for him to resign and leave office NOW!
Me too. The Democrats want him out because they think he hurts their brand and cannot “move forward with the progressive agenda.” They want to replace him with another commie rat in order to “move forward with the progressive agenda.” Hang in their Bob, don’t quit until they take you out in handcuffs. That might take one or two years.
The added problem of potential criminal charges on the “donation” almost leaves Filner no option but to hang in there as mayor until they give him a good enough deal to cover him in the civil suits, and drop the criminal case. Once he resigns, he’s on his own.
Hooters has a sign saying the mayor isn’t welcome. They don’t serve perverts. I thought their entire business plan is based on perverts.
