It is not just black on white in the beatdowns, as I can attest. Although the circumstances were a bit different in My case, generally three individuals of any of several particular groups would strut around at a time and four or more would set out to do the beatdown if you tried to ignore them. They would bloody well rat-pack you and beat you to the ground, then after administering a severe beating they would all take off in different directions and later deny knowing each other or even being in the area.

White-on-black beatings are pretty rare. I can only think of a few over the last few decades. In all cases, they became national news, protestors marched the neighborhood, etc.
