The Russians need to sell targets for the US. I say go, let them win. That way our enemies can spend billions on new targets. I would rather our enemies spend the billions on tanks than millions on newer manpads.
A quality of most Russian-made products has dramatically improved as soon as they have ditched older Soviet production practices and dismantled unions.
Also, modern electronics (like fire control systems regarding tanks) is not that makes a gap for US products as soon as most electronics are based on Taiwanese components and many extremely high tech solutions can be made by talented integrators very cheaply.

It is in Russian but you can see a production line and how it is being built, you can see a detailed target practice with it’s user interface etc.
It doesn’t look inferior for sure.
