Yes, and no. I do suspect he was put on ice due to the publicity, but the process is pretty straightforward if he admitted to agents that he made and uploaded the video.

Probation Officer files violation notice with the court and off you go. It’s really up to the Judge based on recommendation from Probation if he is released pending ruling of the court on the violation?

I’m fully agreeing with you, but.......

I just don’t believe that the same exact situation, if reversed with a republican and Benghazi, would have been so perfect.

For one thing, the media would have been screaming and the video of the instantaneous arrest and disappearance would have been used to accomplish the same goal as would have been served if he had not been arrested at all.

This instant, silent removal, under the context of him being the culprit for the massive defeat in Benghazi, was something that no republican president could have escaped scrutiny over.
