Many job applicants wonder wjy they can’t get a job when they show revealing tattoos, post pictures of themselves at parties with drug paraphenalia lying clearly in the background, or “friends” that are complete freaks, among “likes” of subjects that further show how morally bankrupt they are, etc...

It is not a job interviewers place to nose around an applicant's personal life, worry about their friends or their likes. Sounds like someone has a little power trip going on.

No power trip at all. If an idiot is dumb enough to put it out in the public domain and they’re being considered for a job where good judgment s needed its completely relevant.
