In total agreement. I lived through the days of 1930s and saw the rise and growth of unions. My mother slaved for $4 a week and was always in tears between working and striking. I believe private company unions were good in those days but not nearly as much today. However, I have never believed in any so called ‘public’ employment unions at any level of government. Time has shown that these are breeding grounds for thugs to have their own empires. The paying public has been shut out of the system by bureaucratic self perpetuation and attitudes of imperial control. I have been there and experienced both sides of the table. Public unions should be outlawed . Even a socialist like FDR recognized such for Federal workers.
